"Mar y Dunas" is a holiday home in a very quiet and well-kept residential complex, 400 meters from the sea, with internal green areas and 3 swimming pools (one of which is for children), a barbecue area and a playground. The apartment has a 12 sqm terrace overlooking the peaceful internal gardens, with an excellent southern exposure and protected even on the most windy days. Casa Mar y Dunas is equipped with every comfort, including private parking in the garage served by a lift. It is located in a strategic and convenient position to visit the whole island independently (car hire is highly recommended). The lively and cosmopolitan Corralejo is 20 minutes away. Parque Natural with its dunes and endless beaches is just 10 minutes away. The typical village of El Cotillo with its beaches, white sand coves, the Caribbean sea and sunsets breathtaking, can be reached in 30 minutes. The magnificent south of Fuerteventura is just over a hour drive away. Puerto del Rosario, the capital, equiped for every need, is 10 km away. The wild and unspoiled island of Los Lobos, just 15 minutes by boat from Corralejo, offers beautiful beaches and seabeds for snorkeling and diving.
Next to the residential complex (named La Caleta) there is a stop of the public bus line 6 to Corralejo, Grandes Playas and Puerto del Rosario, with daytime frequency every 30 minutes. Casa Mar y Dunas is located 1.5 km from the residential settlement of Parque Holandes, with some restaurants, bars and a wellness center/SPA. The magnificent beaches with turquoise sea of Parque Natural, ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing and the beautiful equipped beaches of Grandes Playas, are just 10 minutes away by car. The nearby Puerto Lajas offers a few restaurants and bars / cafes overlooking the pretty bay with a dark sand beach. At 2.5 km there is the small fishing village of El Jablito, with a small sheltered beach. For trekking' fonds there is the nearby Montana Roja (red mountain), with its imposing volcanic cone from which you can enjoy splendid views of the dunes, the coast of Parque Natural, the ocean up to the nearby island of Lanzarote. The suggestive island of Lanzarote can be reached from Corralejo in 30 minutes by frequent and comfortable daily ferries with car service.
