El Sauzal is a municipality in the north of Tenerife, located between Tacoronte and La Matanza. It offers views of Mount Teide and the Atlantic Ocean. The area stretches from the coastline, with steep cliffs, up to 1,507 meters above sea level. The Las Mejías ravine runs through the center of the municipality, which is also divided by the TF-5 highway, separating it into the areas of El Ravelo, towards the summit, and El Casco, closer to the coast. The average annual temperature in El Sauzal is 20.5 ºC.
