Homestay Villa Estrella - Costa Brava

FIRST, LET US INTRODUCE OURSELVES. We are Ans and Jos, a Dutch couple. We live in our dream villa where you can rent one of the rooms. Our villa was completely renovated in 2018. The villa is about 1km away from the long beach and 1.5km away from the pleasant centre of Calella and some small quiet rocky beaches. The villa is located approximately 75 meters above sea level. All around you have a beautiful view of the sea and the natural landscape. We speak Dutch, Spanish and English. ---------- The Mediterranean climate and the relaxed way people live here really appeals to us. Here we enjoy the natural environment, the sea view and the tranquillity. We enjoy meeting people, love the sun, walking, reading, music and socializing. ---------- Every now and then I work from my office at home and together we maintain the house and the large garden. But we are also here to make our guests happy. If there are any questions, we are always available. We are only happy if you enjoy your deserved holiday. You are welcome.

THE ACCOMMODATION. The rooms are located on the first floor. There is also a large terrace there. Each room has its own bathroom with toilet, sink and rain shower. The bedroom has air conditioning, the windows have mosquito nets and blackout blinds. Bed linen, shower gel / shampoo, hand soap and towels are included. Each bedroom is not directly adjacent to another bedroom or bathroom. Our own room is on the first floor. ---------- SHARED SPACES The fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge are shared spaces. Our guests share their own large fridge and there are drawers in the kitchen for storing other groceries. The kitchen has a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. ---------- THE OUTSIDE AREA. The garden, with swimming pool, offers complete privacy. There are lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables. In the evening the garden is attractively lit. The swimming pool water is cleaned by means of salt electrolysis. The advantage of softer pool water, no chemical chlorine, so no risk of itching, red eyes and sensitive skin. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. ---------- At the villa you can always park your (rental)car at no cost.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD Calella is a lively city with a wide 2km long beach and an authentic city centre. Calella has approximately 19,000 inhabitants. The hotels are located at the southern part of Calella where you will also find many places of entertainment and of course bars and restaurants. ---------- The centre has a very long, pleasant shopping street for fun and affordable shopping with many bars and restaurants where you can meet the locals. There are plenty of supermarkets a large new Mercadona is a short drive from the villa. ---------- Calella has a train station, and for about 5 euros you can go to Barcelona center, but of course also to other places. There are also buses and there is even a direct bus connection with Barcelona airport. There are walking routes through the forest and there are various things to do and see in the area. For our guests, we also have an information folder about the area, restaurants and special sights to visit and attractions on the Costa Brava. ---------- Do you want to discover a lot by car? Within 2 minutes you can be on the N2 motorway and within fifteen minutes on the C32 highway.
