This cosy hostel is situated in Madrid's charming La Latina district, on one of the most important streets leading to Plaza Mayor Square All rooms at the Hostal Rofer have a private bathroom. The hostel is only 100 metres from La Latina Metro Station. There is easy transport throughout Madrid. It is well-connected with the main motorways such as the M-30. The Rofer's setting offers easy access to the rest of the city. The Plaza Mayor and El Rastro are within easy walking distance. The area is famous for its traditional tapas bars and restaurants.

Property information

Rofer is an historical hostel from Madrid, located in the widely known La Latina neighborhood. At less than 15 minutes by walk from Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Madrid Río park or Puerta del Sol. Give a try to take a walk troughout El Rastro, the most known flea market in Madrid, and enjoy his fabulous tapas bars at 3 minutes from the Hostel.

Neighbourhood information

La Latina is one of the most genuinely authentic neighbourhoods in the city of Madrid. It is located in the centre, and its mediaeval streets are arranged around the squares of La Cebada and La Paja. The streets in this neighbourhood are an illustration of the most popular side of Madrid. This district is much frequented by Madrid locals thanks to its numerous bars, pubs and traditional taverns full of character in streets such as Cava Baja, Cava Alta and right in the squares of La Cebada and La Paja. Although it tends to be very lively all the time, the atmosphere is particularly animated in the evenings and at weekends. Additionally, every Sunday the neighbouring streets are home to Madrid's famous El Rastro open-air street market.
