The flat is in a great location: in the centre of the old town with many great bars cafés and restaurants on your doorstep. The town square is also the main venue for the town's frequent festivities. There are also lots of small independent shops close by selling local produce (including excellent fish and seafood). The two main beaches (Cotolino and Ostende) are both within easy walking distance. Concerning parking, it is fine to park on the sea front to unload luggage and then find on-street parking close by (on a meter). Otherwise a large public car park (Amestoy car park) is 200m away and parking spaces are always available. Also worth noting that there is a frequent (every 30 min) bus service to Bilbao which takes about 25 min.
