We will explain how to get to The Patio...the quickest way is by taxi and takes about 25 mins. You can also come by public transport if you prefer. We will be waiting for you here in The Patio and will check your flight to calculate your arrival time. We have a lot of information here...maps and guide books. Any information that you may need ...we will do our best to find it! We can give you recommendations for restaurants and shops. We are lucky that the we are surrounded by shops,bars and restaurants. It is very convenient living so close to the metro.Barcelona is a right next to a subway station and beautifully located in front of a park. The Patio, is a unique accomodation on the ground floor with a long plant lined patio. On the roof, we have a large terrace for relaxing and enjoying a drink, after a busy day of sightseeing. We are in a secluded spot, which is very peaceful… just the sound of the birds. We have tried to decorate The Patio in a unusual way, giving it character. We have made many changes and improvements. We live next door and can give help and information whenever it is needed. We hope our guests feel comfortable and relaxed at all times.

We have been welcoming guests for many years...since 2001! We enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Some guests prefer their privacy and some enjoy a chat with us. We have many people coming for all kinds of reasons .. birthday celebrations wedding anniversaries honeymoons ..or just getting together with friends or family. The two bedrooms are ideal for two couples or a couple with children. If there is a fifth guest we can put an extra bed in the twin room. The twin beds can be made up into a king size bed - just let us know! I am from the north of England and Tony my husband is from Barcelona. We have a grown up daughter who lives with her husband near Barcelona ....and we became grandparents since 2019.

The neighbourhood is very safe. Having so many shops restaurants and bars open during the evening, there are always people in the street. It is always very convenient having the metro just in front of our building. You can get to all parts of Barcelona(which is very large)easily and quickly. On foot you can get to Diagonal shopping area and Montjuic where the magic fountains are. We are also walking distance from La Fira exhibition area, or Passeig de Gracia (La Pedrera, Gaudí building). It's very nice having the small park across the road....ideal for children and adults sitting in the park.
