We are a family of four who have enjoyed many wonderful holidays in Corralejo, hence the reason for buying a villa there. We had got tired of the package tour type holiday with the regimented structure, low graded accommodation and reps at the welcome meetings only interested in selling their trips! We currently live in Billericay in Essex and have busy lives with work and family. We bought this property as we loved the fact that it was slightly out of town on a residential complex but offered the chance to get away from it all. lt has wonderful far reaching views to the islands of Los Lobos and Lanzarote. It also has the benefit of only being minutes away from the bustling town of Corralejo which offers an abundance of tapas bars, restaurants and shops and the wonderful uncrowded beaches which Fuerteventura is so famous for.

A special feature of the property is a superb 6 seater Jacuzzi for sole use of our guests with two loungers, kaleidoscope lighting and a temperature of 38 degrees. Just wonder to relax in after a hard day's sunbathing! There is a large private sunny garden, gated on both sides making it safe for children with an attractive grassed area, mini putting green and hammock underneath a coconut umbrella. The villa has a large patio area with tables and chairs and sun loungers and a path leading to the attractive brick-built barbecue - a perfect space for alfresco dining. The property has its own driveway with plenty of parking space. As the villa is detached there is ample space all around the property - making it possible to find sun and shade at all times. A sun lovers dream! The garden has a rockery with attractive plants making a perfect setting for alfresco dining. The villa also has the added feature of a wonderful roof terrace (The Rooftop Retreat) which has been refurbished with grass and has both sunbeds and a table and chairs for relaxing and enjoying those amazing views. All guests have access to a beautiful lagoon-shaped pool and children's pool situated on the complex within a 3 minute walk from the villa.

Villadunas is situated front line to the Dunas National Park of Corralejo (Parque Natural) enjoying panoramic views of the sea, sand dunes and the islands of Los Lobos and Lanzarote. It is in a gated residential complex yet only a 3 minute drive/35 minute pleasant walk to the bustling town of Corralejo and the nearest beach. There are two main supermarkets and a few restaurants within a five minute walk and more bars/restaurants within an approximate fifteen minute walk. The development consists of luxury apartments, terraced, semi-detached and detached houses with only a privileged few having a front line position (our villa being one of them). All the properties on the complex have use of a beautiful lagoon-shaped communal pool and children's pool which is just a five minute walk from Villadunas. Car hire is recommended although not essential but would give the opportunity to explore the surrounding area and fascinating island.
