The Hattapukki cottage rental service has been launched in the spring of 2020. We are a local family owned business. We are developing accommodation and tourism services in cooperation with other service providers in the near area.

In our newly renovated holiday home Villa Himpula you will spend your holiday or your telecommuting days in comfort. The house is located on the area of old Rantahakala farm in the middle of apple trees and on the beach of Päijänne. The magnificent lake view opens from the terrace and from the living room windows. The house has a own beach with a pier and a rowing boat. Large terrace with a stunning lake views. The yard you will find garage for your car, wood storage room and garden. Villa Himpula has new modern bathroom and sauna facilities and a varied kitchen. Two bedrooms and the spacious living room with plenty of space to stay, play and relax. With additional cost you can use relaxing hot tub on the terrace or rent kayak, sup-boards, linen, mountain bikes or separate beach sauna. You can pay extra services and products with cash or card when you arrive. Do not wait too long. Book now!

The Hattapukki is part of the traditional Rantahakala farm, whose history is rooted far into the past. PLACES TO VISIT: - Päijätsalo (trail, tower) - Kammiovuori (trail) - Päijänne (fishing, paddling, rowing) - Tainiovirta (river, fishing, paddling) ACTIVITIES: - On the beach you can swim and dip your toes to water. - In winter the hole in the ice is open for extreme swimmers. It will really blow your mind. - Fishing is always fun. There are a lot of fish in Päijänne. (note: Compulsory National Fisheries Management Fee) - A rowing boat is available free of charge for Villa Himpula guests. Life jackets are in storage by the garage. - The berry forest invites pickers in the fall (blueberries, lingonberries, raspberries - ask for tips) - Kayaks and SUP-boards are for rent - Boat landing place for your own boat - We have a hut in the forest with a fireplace for frying sausages - Cycling on mountain bikes for rent from the farm - Cross country skiing on the farm's own easy ski trails or on the nearby ski trails. - Ice skating and touring ice skating on Päijänne ice or Sysmä artificial ice - Cycling around the Sysmä. We have two mountain bikes for rent.
