Just 25 minutes’ drive from Inari, this property has both rooms and self-catering options. It offers traditional Lapland food and free BBQ facilities.
All accommodation at Kaamasen Kievari has wooden floors and a private entrance. Some options offer private saunas or views of the Kaamanen River.
Reindeer and salmon are just some key ingredients used at Kaamasen’s restaurant. Snacks and pastries can be bought at reception.
A traditional camping hut and a children’s playground are available. Electric and wood-fired saunas can also be booked.

「It’s a fairly basic, but generally good self catering place in Kaamanen. It was a stopp-over for me, but I think it’s good for a longer stay, too.」

「We stayed in the winter. The place is very nice, everything is very well managed by a nice young family, who make you feel at home.
They offer many services and give very good advice.
The cottage was very cozy, warm and with a relaxing sauna....」

「A few kilometers from Inari where peace and serenity reign. A complete accommodation with a bit of everything with a very helpful family management. We had the wonderful opportunity to go fishing in a small lake nearby, although without success,...」

「Nice Accomodation! great location to spot northern lights and to watch reindeer!
You can arrange everything with ypur hosts, but you'll need to communicate it early enough (if travelling in low season).」

「Big lodge with its own sauna. Right next to the frozen river where we saw reindeers crossing and the northern lights! Friendly staff. We booked a snow mobiling trip with them and went 5 mins later. Clean bedding.」
Kaamanen village is known as the borderland of four tribes and the crossroads of four important roads. Indeed, Kaamanen is a rendezvous point offering road and snowmobile route connections north, east, south and west. Kaamanen has a strong fishing and hunting culture. Trout and grayling migrate along the Kaamasjoki River and other waterways in the region. Abundant with wild fowl, the district is internationally renowned among ornithologists and the area has received praise from bird photographers as being a dream location. At the feeding spots in Kaamanen, you can sport many species of Arctic birds, and the chances of spotting these species elsewhere are very slim. From Kaamanen it's easy to explore the surrounding wilderness and hikers will be able to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes with fells and winding rivers.
