Peaceful and well equipped apartment in the heart of Porth Arthur (Portsa) residential area. Only a ten minute walk to the center.
The apartment has all the necessary equipment for staying, washing and cooking. The sleeping alcove has a double bed already made up, and the sofa can also be used for sleeping if necessary. A cozy balcony brings extra space to the apartment from spring to late autumn. The bathroom has a washing machine for use by the guests.
The idyllic Portsa wooden house area opens up on the west side of the apartment. The former working-class district is now one of Turku's most popular residential areas. Kakola hill rises on the other side of the apartment. The former Kakola prison area is now a great residential area and a place for leisure.
A grocery store open from early morning until late at night is located about 100 meters away. Along Puutharkakatu, which runs through Portsa, you can also find a local bakery and the cozy Kortteliravintola Arvo. In Kakolanmäki, you can find, among other things, a spa and restaurant services, a bakery, a coffee roaster and a microbrewery.
