From the large yard and big terrace of villa Tahlo Hillhouse opens the amazing view of lake Näsijärvi. The villa is well-equipped with a large kitchen and lounge areas. At the main building are accommodations for 16 people. Our accommodations include good quality Finnish beds, which we have made ready for your arrival. 100 meters from the main building stands the lakeside sauna Tahlo Underhill Beach & Sauna where you can experience an authentic Finnish sauna, handmade from the trees on the Tahlo estate, and enjoy the fresh country air on the terrace. There is also an integrated hot tub (palju) on the terrace, which is available to use for an additional fee. Our beach is shallow and child-friendly. During summer seasons two people can stay in the sauna cabin on a pull out sofa-bed. At Tahlo you can enjoy a family holiday, host (business) meetings or simply have a small break from duties and obligations. Our venue is also perfect for throwing parties such as weddings, birthdays, or graduations. We have considered the needs that families with small children may have, and so we are a child-friendly accommodation.

Tahlo Hillhouse is located in a peaceful place right at the coast of Näsijärvi. We have some neighbouring cabins next to our beach sauna. Please note that quiet time starts at 10pm, after which all conduct must be peaceful and silent. Next to the sauna we have the Tahlo farm. Tahlo’s history stems 400 years back, from the year 1585. Our guests are always welcome to freely use the grounds for outdoor activities as well as the lean-to shelter (laavu) with a campfire spot located a few kilometers from the venue. We have swimming opportunities all year round and an ice hole during winter. During your stay you have the possibility of recreational fishing on the 1200 hectare water area of Tahlo and Kulju.
