The villa is located by Lake Talvijärvi , 3 kilometres (2 miles) away from the centre of Ruka. In the wintertime you can take a short cut by walking across the frozen lake to the nearest ski lift which is only 500m away and cut through to Ruka Village. During winter, cross-country skiers can enjoy and use the wide ski track network of the Ruka area. which is only 50m away. For those who appreciate car transportation, there are great taxi services. The villa is located right next to the Ruka Ski Bus route. The ski bus is an affortable way to reach the hillsides and all the services of the Ruka centre.
