Ankkuri is a vacation resort with a magnificent main building which is made of hand-carved logs and a atmospheric summer room and a traditional sauna by the lake. Ankkuri is located in the Savonlinna region in the municipality of Savonranta. In Ankkuri has a shallow child-friendly sandy beach and magnificent views of Lake Saimaa! The two-story main house has two bedrooms, two living rooms, kitchen and dining room, electric sauna, bathroom and a toilet. Päärakennuksesa has sleeping places for six people. In front of the main building has a terrace with a gas grill. Summer room is in the same yard and there is a double bed, a sitting area and fireplace. The sauna building has a sauna, a dressing room and living room. The sauna has a wood-burning stove! The sauna room has a sofa bed with a sleeping place for two persons, fireplace and TV. Beside the beach is also a wood-fired hot-tub and we have also a row boat. Rental price doesn't include final cleaning nor bed linen. You can clean the cottage by yourself or buy it from us for 120,-. Bedlinen you can bring your own or rent from us at the price of 15,-/pcs (only sheets, no towels). Savonranta is a former municipality of Finland. It became part of Savonlinna in early 2009. It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Southern Savonia region Kolovesi National Park, home of the Saimaa Ringed Seals – one of the most endangered seals in the world, is located in Savonranta and its neighbour municipalities Enonkoski and Heinävesi.
