Ylläs Villas is a Finnish family-owned company running four high-end wooden chalets in Äkäslompolo in Finnish Lapland. Villa Stella, Villa Aurora, Villa Astra, and Villa Polaris are fully equipped holiday houses rented per week - from Saturday to Saturday.

Villa Astra (192 m2) is a log cabin accommodation in Lapland for 12. The cozy wooden chalet is located at Räkkätie in Röhkömukka in Äkäslompolo. Villa Astra is suitable for up to 12 people with its six bedrooms with two separate beds and a bathroom in each. The spacious common area consists of a fully equipped modern kitchen including wine cabinets and an integrated espresso machine, a dining room with seats for 12 people, and a living room. The living room is two steps down from the dining room and kitchen, with a sofa, a couple of lounge chairs, an open fireplace, and a TV. The sauna-department includes a sauna, a bathroom with three showers, WC, and a dressing room. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the house. The heated building outside the chalet includes large storage and a warm service room for ski preparation with all service equipment needed. There is also a drying room where you can conveniently leave all wet ski boots, helmets, and outerwear to dry. We also offer complete sets of modern high-class skis, boots and ski poles for both cross-country and alpine skiing.

The convenient location of Villa Astra makes sure that you can ski down from the ski slope straight to the chalet’s yard and that you find several cross-country ski tracks just behind the house. The Ylläs Ski Bus stop is 800 meters away. In autumn you can pick berries and mushrooms right outside the porch and in summer you can hike in the forest just behind the house. Northern lights can be spotted even from inside the chalet through the windows! The center of the holiday village Äkäslompolo is 2 km away. The enormous supermarket Jounin Kauppa offers a wide selection of foods, clothing, and other essentials and also holds a separate pharmacy (Apteekki), a liquor store (Alko), and a café. You will also find other shops, bars, and restaurants in the village center. The hotel Äkäshotelli is 1,5 km away and has a medical center just next to it (MediYlläs). There is a car shelter outside the chalet with pylons for car heaters. Bed linen, bathrobes, towels, firewood, and cleaning are included in the week-price.
