A bit further from the hustle of Ruka, but still within a reasonably short distance from everything. The villa sleeps eight, and there’s additionally a loft for three people. A spacious kitchen, dining area, and living room, recently renovated, featuring a striking slate stone fireplace that retains heat well. Two double bedrooms and one four-person bedroom with bunk beds + loft. Two separate toilets. Access to the atmospheric sauna is through a separate dressing room. For cooling off, the dressing room leads out to a covered terrace, which offers beautiful views of a lake landscape down the slope. There’s a warm and spacious storage room for sports equipment right at the villa’s entrance. Directly from the door, you can access a four-kilometer ski track, which connects to the Kuusamo and Ruka trail network (the connection will be opened in springwinter time, week 8). Good opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, and hiking. Guests have access to a scenic firepit/lean-to shelter place in the woods by a clear stream, about 1 km from the villa. A great spot to admire the Northern Lights. The distance to Ruka’s services is about 20 km, to Kuusamo Tropiikki spa 4 km, and to Kuusamo center/airport about 10 km. Villa Poronperä is comprehensively equipped, including the kitchen. The apartment has, among other things, two televisions: a newly updated 65-inch in the living room (with Wi-Fi connection) and a 40-inch mounted on the wall of the middle bedroom. The equipment also includes a Wi-Fi network and a Bluetooth speaker. Various equipment is available for child guests, from sleds to potties and a high chair.
