45BB is first and foremost our family home and we love to open it to guests, to share and enjoy it. We are always open to suggestions and have made a number of improvements and additions as a result of suggestions that we have received. No other guest house in the Old Bastide offers you en-suite shower rooms, air conditioning/heating, mini fridges, fibre wifi throughout and Smart televisions with Astra Europe satellite feed, for your comfort and enjoyment. Apart from all these facilities, we also have an in-ground pool - a haven in our summers!

Your hosts Sadie, Joachim and resident mini schnauzer Juno, look forward to welcoming you to our home, 45BB - a premier guest house located in the heart of the Old Bastide in Carcassonne. 45BB is a period property that is nearly 200 years old having undergone renovations to upgrade and provide en-suites and air conditioning in all the rooms, to make your stay even more comfortable. Each room is furnished with hotel standard beds, pure cotton bed linen, and stylish contemporary furnishings with coffee and tea making facilities, kettle, mini fridge, luggage rack, wardrobe, desk and flat screen SMART television with satellite feed. Free wifi (fibre) is provided throughout the property. The only guest house in the centre of town with our own courtyard garden, in ground swimming pool and air conditioned rooms. There is a wide selection of eateries, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and retail outlets all within walking distance of the property.

Carcassonne has a huge selection and variety to offer from restaurants, shops, entertainment, historical sites to sporting activities including cycling and boating along the canal du midi. The old cite of Carcassonne is a 20 minute walk while Narbonne, on the Mediterranean coast, is only a half hour's drive, and the Pyrenees less than 2 hours away, for summer hikes or winter skiing. We would be happy to suggest any number of activities that may be of interest to you, or simply ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.
