Our place is very close to the village centre and it's square, with many excellent restaurants and bars, boasting great views, gardens and local shops. You’ll love our place all year round, because of it's fantastic location, with the ambiance of a small friendly french village, hosting many seasonal activities for the whole family, as well as a ski lift giving you access to 265km of ski slopes, across the Grand Massif. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families.

Originally from the UK, living in Canada since 2014. I retired, 50th birthday, got married and immigrated to Canada all with-in 3 weeks, in March 2014. I have been instructing fitness for 20 years, but retired from my profession as a Specialist Paediatric Respiratory Nurse. In Japan visiting family at the moment. Life couldn't be better!!!!! Everything is accessible on foot from the apartment, including fantastic restaurants, bars and local shops. Many restaurants require booking in the height of the ski season. Samoens is an all year round destination, with great hiking, walking, biking, para-gliding, caving, horse riding, and rafting, it has a outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and forest rope tree top adventure park, open in the summer, as well as the fantastic skiing both down hill and cross country in the winter. The village is easy to get around on foot and small enough to not need a car. The ski lift is with-in a 10 minute walk from the apartment, there is a local ski bus if you don't want to walk, and a quaint minature ski "train" picks up outside the apartment and goes to the ski lift too, this is very popular mode of transport for families with young children. There are also heated ski and boot lockers available for rent at the base and at the top of the gondola. The village has many shops selling local produce and a small supermarket. There is a larger supermarket approx 3 miles outside the village.
