Set in an abbey dating back to the 11th century, Grand Hôtel de l'Abbaye is located in Beaugency, 24.5 km from the Chateau de Chambord. It is close to many châteaux in the Loire Valley and is classified as a Historic Monument. All rooms offer a view of the river and free WiFi is provided throughout. A flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi access are included in the elegantly decorated guest rooms. A buffet breakfast is prepared with fresh and organic produce every morning. You can also enjoy one of the Trappist beers from the bar or relax on the terrace overlooking the river. Products made by local abbeys and monasteries are available to purchase from reception and a wood-fired rotisserie is available on site on the weekends. The property offers a 19th-century broiler, where guests can watch their dinner being cooked upon request. Dinner can also be served on the terrace with views of the Loire River.
