Come and stay in the heart of Provence, at the gates of the Luberon. This majestic stone town house, completely restored, located in the heart of the charming and lively village of Forcalquier will welcome you as a family for an extraordinary stay. A stone's throw from the citadel and with a breathtaking view, you will enjoy its shaded garden and its spacious and tastefully furnished rooms. The house was completely renovated a few years ago, with natural materials. The entrance is into the living room, cool in summer, which also houses the kitchen and its large wooden table where all the guests can sit. The kitchen is fully equipped, the cooks will benefit from a gas cooking piano and a Thermomix, the dishes will be easily adjusted thanks to the dishwasher. A few steps lead to the living room where a sofa invites you to relax. The accommodation includes two very spacious and bright bedrooms, ideal for two adult couples, and a very large room converted into a children's area, with 2 single beds and 3 matresses we can add (5 children can easily stay), games and books. The traditional tadelakt bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a toilet and a bidet each. We just added this year a very nice swimming pool, it's still a bit earthy around but very refreshing during hot days. Two teraces and the garden will welcome your family all day round.

We are a family with 3 children living during the year in the house, having chosen Forcalquier for its way of life and very amazing and natural surrounding.

Forcalquier is a charming and lovely village, at the edge of Luberon and heart of Provence. Located at 1h15 from Marseille and 50 min of Aix-En-Provence, let yourself spend some marvellous time in this original and pure space. The house is located in a pedestrian and very quiet street. The only noises you will hear are those of the birds of the citadel park located just above. The location is very central, everything is within walking distance. Parking is possible about 50m from the house, free. Bicycles are available to guests (2 bicycles for adults, 2 bicycles for children, a balance bike for a small child), as well as a trailer for a child and a baby seat for an adult bicycle.
