Set in the woods, Castelwood is a 10-minute walk from the Chateau de Biron, 20 km south of the Dordogne valley. The estate has an outdoor swimming pool and spacious rentals with a terrace.
Castelwood cabins and safari tents can accommodate up to 6 people. Each includes a kitchen, living/dining area and private bathroom with separate toilet. The terraces are equipped with garden furniture.
The property also includes a barbecue. Guests can play a game of table tennis or relax in the library. Wi-Fi is available.

A haven of peace as a base for discovering the Dordogne?
Living in a chalet or safari tent in the forest for a few days?
Our special rentals await you in the heart of the Dordogne and at the foot of the famous Château Biron, for a more than relaxing stay.
Practical information: Our rates are based on 4 people. Bed linen is provided as well as household linen (towels, bath mat and cleaning kit). The supply of bath linen (towels) is optional. End of stay cleaning is the responsibility of the customer but it is possible to take the end of stay cleaning option.
Passionate about travel and nature, we like to practice outdoor activities such as hiking. So we discover our magnificent French heritage, meet walkers passionate about nature and taste with pleasure the local cuisine. At every opportunity, during our first life, we escaped from our Parisian suburbs to reconnect with simple things. For several years now, we have been thinking about converting to outdoor hospitality to be able to welcome and share our passion with as many people as possible and allow everyone to recharge their batteries in the middle of nature.
The Castelwood estate, a haven of peace nestled in lush greenery, seemed to us to be the right place to live our project and start our second life. We have therefore decided to leave our respective jobs as School Director and IT Manager to embark on this incredible adventure.
We will therefore have a great pleasure to welcome you on this magnificent site in the middle of the forest.
