Chalet Galibert - Explore Oisans This his wonderful modern chalet has a stunning location nestled in the valley between Allemond and Bourg d'Oisans. A perfect choice for groups of skiers, cyclists, hikers and families seeking a modern holiday home in an idyllic location close to the Eau d’Olle express ski lift, and navette stop. The cycle path and the many cycling and hiking routes right on the doorstep! Reach the centre of Bourg d’Oisans/Allemond in 5/10 minutes by car/bike, 2 minutes walk to bus stop. You enter the lower ground floor into the large entrance hallway with dining area and table and chairs seating eight guests, you can enjoy the views from the patio doors overlooking the garden. To the right a couple of steps lead up to the nicely decorated open plan kitchen lounge area. The modern kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the kitchen equipment you need to self-cater during your stay. The lounge has a stylish corner sofa and flat screen tv. French doors lead from the living area onto a small raised terrace and onto the garden. For warmth in the winter months the house has an electric fire making a cosy winter getaway. On the ground floor there are two nicely decorated bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the second has two single beds. There is a large family bathroom with spa bath, Italian shower and a separate WC. There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer. From the kitchen a staircase leads to the first floor where there is a further two bedrooms, a double bedroom with ensuite shower and WC, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. The bedrooms are all bright and spacious, each with ample storage space. The peaceful fully enclosed garden has a furnished terrace with sun loungers and BBQ, providing a lovely area to relax or dine al fresco and enjoy the spectacular mountain views. The secure bike/ski store is at the side of the house and provides safe storage.

The small hamlet of Les Sable is nestled in the valley floor just a short five-minute drive or 10 minute ride from the centre of Bourg d'Oisans and Allemond. In summer Bourg d'Oisans is a mecca for cyclists due to its position at the foot of Alpe d'Huez and the many famous and local cols accessible from the chalet. In winter you can reach Allemond and the ski lift Eau d'Olle express in just five minutes by car or take advantage of the free navette stopping close by the house. The village of Bourg d'Oisans offers everything cyclists, hikers, skiers and mountain enthusiasts could need with a good selection of shops for bike hire, ski hire cycling equipment and mountain clothing. You can also enjoy the many other activities in the summer months such as canoeing, hiking and horse riding. There is a weekly Saturday morning market year-round and in the peak summer months the atmosphere is wonderful with concerts, night markets and activities for children. There is a good choice of restaurants and cafes, with the terraces of Cafe de Paris in Bourg d'Oisans being the popular choice for post ride refreshments and evening drinks.
