Welcome to Chalet Silene,
Silène has a large living space with an open kitchen, A large window bay opens onto a wooden terrace.
The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, raclette grill, fondue grill, etc...).
The living room is modern and bright thanks to the white walls which combine with the exposed framework in a mountain-chalet spirit. Also, the wood stove is waiting for you! (wood provided).
Upstairs, Silène has 3 independent bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed. The second and third bedrooms each have 2 single beds. An additional bed is installed in the bedroom corridor to bring the total number of beds to 7.
Outside, Le Chalet Silène is surrounded by a large garden that is shared with guests from our guesthouse and ourselves.
You can enjoy numerous facilities shared with our guest house: gas grill, deckchairs, trampoline, ping-pong table, pool table, ski/bike garage, etc...
We are hosting since 1992. As mountaineers and ski and mountaineering professionals, it is with pleasure that we will share our ideas for activities, walks, hiking routes or advice on all the activities organized in Oisans
You will be ideally located: About 2km from Bourg d'Oisans in the direction of the Ecrins National Park, « Le Vert » is a small hamlet in nature and at the starts of various walks. On foot, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the center of the Bourg.
In Winter, you can reach the Alpe d'Huez ski resort with a gondola located less than 15 minutes on an easy road (l'Eau d'Olle express) or the 2 Alpes ski resort with the Venosc gondola (20 minutes drive).
Activities:
In summer and winter, the place is ideal if you like to walk, with direct access to the greenway and easy walks: Cascade de la Pisse (1h), Springs of la Rive (30mn), blue lake and lake Buclet etc...
A starting point for pony rides and canoeing is also at 5 minutes on foot.
Many hikes in the surrounding mountains (among the most famous, Lake Muzelle, Lake Lauvitel, GR54...)
By bike, you have an ideal starting point to climb the Glandon, Croix de Fer, Lautaret, Galibier, Alpe d'Huez…
And also a multitude of other activities around: Swimming pool, fishing, museums, Route of know-how, weekly market, mountain guides...
