This is a 17 sq m rooftop room on the top floor of the building, with a 40 sq m rooftop terrace offering unobstructed sea views. The view is absolutely fabulous, overlooking the sea, Nice, and the mountains.
The room has a glass wall with a sea view, a shower with a sea view, and absolute tranquility.
The swimming pool is open from May to October, with a charge in July and August. There is a clubhouse by the pool where you can eat in for lunch and dinner or just have a drink. Tennis courts are available by reservation.
To get here from the airport or train station: If you are arriving by car or rideshare, drive through the green gate and go up to the top in front of the LARA 5 building (the 6th and last building). If you are arriving by public transport, take tram T2 from the airport and get off at Magnan station, then take bus 10 to the Abbaye de Roseland stop (approximately a 5-minute bus ride). Let me know when you arrive at the white gate.
From the train station, take bus or tram T2 to the Magnan stop and then bus 10. Roseland Abbey is not recommended for walking as it is uphill.
Roseland Abbey is one of Nice's largest and most beautiful condominium complexes, boasting a swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and proximity to beaches and museums. Having a truly unique apartment with a completely independent rooftop bedroom, I've decided to share this special spot with travelers at a reasonable price. This bedroom offers a 180° view of Nice, the sea, the Promenade des Anglais, and the mountains—a rooftop terrace where you can soak up the sun during the day and enjoy the cool night air while gazing at the city, the sea, and the stars. What could be more romantic?
COURS SALEYA: Gather flowers and regional specialties, such as olive oil, spices, tapenade, or anchovy paste, etc. For a culinary journey, this is the place to be. THE MATISSE MUSEUM: A must-see in Nice if you love painting. You'll have access to nearly 70 canvases, 200 drawings, engravings, sculptures, illustrated books, photographs, and objects that belonged to the painter. THE PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS: The "Prom"—as the locals call it—is a huge promenade along the coastline, stretching 6 km from the entrance to Nice to the Old Town. Visiting Nice along this pedestrian avenue allows you to observe the city's reflections and the vibrant lights at any time of day. Orange hues in the evening, grey-blues in the morning, turquoise blues in the sea, and all with the feeling of being in the countryside! CASTLE HILL: Contrary to what its name suggests, Castle Hill is more of a hill than a castle. Only ruins remain, but climbing the steps to the top of the hill offers a view of Nice and the Bay of Angels.
