Located on the borders of Sologne and the castles of the Loire, in Indre, 7 km from the castle of Valençay, Coubloust is a haven of peace surrounded by a 4 ha park. 
Square plan castle flanked by a staircase tower surrounded by ditches, it was erected in the 13th century. 
At the end of the 19th century, it was restored, with an important wine estate and a replica of the Tour des Marques of the Château de Chenonceau. 
It has undergone a complete renovation in recent years allowing a comfortable stay for 12 peoples in 7 bedrooms and six bathrooms.(insulation-double glazing-air conditioning-wifi)
On the ground floor, a fully equipped modern kitchen, a dining room that can accommodate 14 to 16 guests with a monumental fireplace giving access to a veranda opening onto the garden.
The 3 floors are served by a spiral staircase
On the first floor, 3 suites each with a bathroom and a toilet, covered with original wallpaper from the beginning of the 20th century,
a separate 19th century bathroom,
On the second floor, a reception room, occupying the entire surface of the building with two monumental fireplaces at each end. A French billiard table is in this room.
On the 3rd floor, still in its 19th century appearance, 3 bedrooms lined with old papers, a bathroom.
The independent tower, built in the 19th century, includes a large circular bedroom on the 1st floor with separate WC and a bathroom on the 2nd floor.
The castle is surrounded by a dry moat. 
Access is via two pedestrian bridges. 
The garden bounded by the moat is flowered with a pond and a furnished gazebo. 
The 4-hectare park is partitioned off by hundred-year-old boxwood hedges. 
These hedges isolate a relaxation area with swimming pool 11.5 x 5 m (heated shutter), boules pitch 13 x 3.5 m, barbecue. 
The park includes many oak trees and a century-old sequoia.
