The house has a very private patio and veranda in front, and another very private patio in the back, with very comfortable seating. The main room has an open kitchen, a dining table indoors and a convertible couch, along with a mezzanine with a larger bed and window for ocean breezes, giving you a choice for sleeping. The house accommodates two people comfortably. There is also parking right in front of the house, a rarity in small villages like Chaucre. This house is located just a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Les Huttes, and restaurants on the Point de Chaucre.

The host is a Franco-American artist from New York who spent most of his adult life in Paris. He has spent the last twenty years coming to the island regularly where he owns a house and purchased this little house near the beach quite recently, giving it a complete make-over. He loves the island, particularly the northwest coast, where this house is located, having been drawn to its unspoiled nature, both beaches and forests. He is a friendly guy and will be happy to give any suggestions for dining or sight-seeing. He spends most of his time painting at his home on the island, a few kilometers away from this house in Chaucre, and he is assisted by a very experienced team of concierges.

This house is located just a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Les Huttes, and restaurants on the Point de Chaucre. There is no construction whatsoever on the beach, and the water is exceptionally blue. What drew the host to this house was the unspoiled area of the island on which is located, close enough to the beach to walk, even with a surfboard, and the privacy that it affords.
