At noon, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the oyster ports of the Basin, rather towards the port of La Teste, or Gujan, or at the market of Arcachon just below, (bring a container if you wish to have them opened, and don't go too late for this request), then leave to conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla. If you feel like taking to the sea, regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty, 3mn walk from your home, to the Cap Ferret, the bird island, the famous cabanes tchanquées !
