This house is really in the middle of the mountains of the Pyrenees and has a view of the famous Montségur, the mountain with on its top a fortress from the 13th century, where the Cathars were burned at the stake in 1244. You can climb this mountain and the castle still feels mysterious, but also offers a fabulous view of the often snow-covered peaks of the mountains. It is a typical mountain house, with thick walls that keep out the cold in winter and the heat in summer. So the house is available all year round and nice to stay in. 8 KWH per day electricity is free, wood in summer is free but not in winter. Ideal for winter sports!
