Farmhouse Vacation are three lovely traditional rural french houses which have been restored with care to provide a wonderful place for families to enjoy the pleasures of the French countryside. The gardens have lots of lawn where active children can enjoy their freedom in safety. Mimosa, Jasmin and La Rose the three houses do not overlook each other and have their own shady terraces and green space .A trampoline ,swings badminton and a small tree house , is provided in the garden for the children to discover. The property is surrounded by an organique farm growing kiwis and vegetables which the owner will be happy to provide for your holiday. The property is surrounded on two sides with a kiwi plantation and an organic farm where vegetables can be purchased directly from the farmer.

For wine lovers you will need more time ,within easy reach there are so many famous wine regions ,such as St Emilion , Pomerol, Sauternes the Medoc and many others. visits and tastings can be arranged. Many are historic Chateaux which can be visited. We enjoy cycling and there is a new cycle path along the canal with lovely stops at the small ports for lunch and refreshments. Canoeing on the Ciron a beautiful slow moving, shallow, shady river near the region of Sauternes is a popular excursion. The beautiful city of Bordeaux is a must to visit ,only an hour away its a lovely day out to enjoy the quais of the Garonne ,take a boat trip on the river or enjoy the narrow streets and small squares full of restaurants and bars or the many museums which share the history of this great city. The Atlantic coast with its surfing ,huge sand dunes and fresh sea food should not be missed . The bay of Arcachon provides many water sports and a popular family day out is to the AquaCity at Gujan Mestras. Locally during July and August villages provide night markets where one can eat the local produce and enjoy an evening of fun music. A good selection of restaurants are available locally.
