The property is divided into small private shaded areas and an olive grove. You can relax on deckchairs by the swimming pool, in the small garden or under the olive trees, in complete serenity, in a quiet and discreet conviviality. An tasty breakfast awaits you in the morning in the green garden or in front of your door. It is prepared with our local or home-made products. Every time you wander around the garden, you will be able to discover the creations and restoration of objects tastefully arranged by the proprietor. Indeed, this charming house has been restored by a collector and painter : The rooms combine comfort and originality. Two exterior rooms hidden in the garden with their private space allowing you to have breakfast in front of the room in complete privacy. A very unusual room: the Corsaire is a replica of an old pirate's three-masted cabin for a total change of scenery. A family room decorated as it was at the beginning of the last century. Our Cévenole house is situated 7 kms from Anduze in a 1000 year old medieval village to visit: Durfort en circulade. The restaurant Le Réal is 300 meters away as well as two grocery shops. The cellar of Durfort is well known and you can taste wines under the appellation "Cave de Durfort" and "Duché d'Uzès". The equestrian centre Le Haras de Durfort in the heart of the vineyards offers courses and walks in the Cévennes. At the Portel des Arnaud you have the choice between visiting, moving around or wandering around. Visiting: Nîmes and its Arena, Montpellier, Uzès, the Pont du Gard site, the Cévennes National Park, the many magical caves, Aigues-Mortes, Avignon. Moving : The Gard is full of activities to do with family or friends. On the programme you can go hiking, mountain biking, tree climbing, canoeing, kayaking and much more! Wandering : You can go and discover the Cevennes markets, Anduze with its famous pottery, visit the Anduze bamboo plantation or enjoy the seaside, a privileged place in complete privacy.
