Very nice picturesque setting of an old hamlet of the 17th century with 8 renovated holiday homes Perigourdine style and one B&B around a mansion with a courtyard on top of a hill. Beautiful swimming pool and pool house, with comfortable deck chairs and bar (summer only). All houses are different and each with its charm. Splendid views, beautiful setting in a park-like setting, spacious terraces with direction to the South. The B&B has its own terrace with a view over the surroundings. Breakfast will be served at the poolhouse, courtyard, or the old bakery house, all three beautiful locations. We also have several animals for our guests to enjoy: 2 donkeys, 3 goats, guinea pigs, chickens, and a peacock. Lots of privacy, but with the opportunity to meet other people as well. It is a very peaceful place and for sure a great place to enjoy your holidays.

Les Bernardies is more a hobby for us than actual work. We love to make people enjoy our stay with us and appreciate our place. Being hostess is really our joy in life, explaining to people where to go and what to look for. Next to that, holding workshops for children, and having children enjoying our animals is just a lot of fun. Seeing people enjoying their breakfast in our courtyard or at the poolhouse, feeling miles away from real life, and really enjoying their time... what else do you want!

Les Bernardies is set in a rural setting with a lot of natur and quietness. At the same time, it sits in the middle of all main attractions in the Périgord Noir (15 min from Sarlat/Souillac, 10 min from Dordogne, 30 min from Lascaux IV, all main castles within 40 min drive, beautiful gardens such as Eyrignac), Lot (Rocamadour and Padirac at 45 min), and Corrèze (Brive, Collonge-la-Rouge).
