A covered terrace, spacious conservatory and plenty of outdoor space ensures privacy should you need it. Includes lush breakfast overlooking the stunning surrounding mountains of the Verdon.
Please remember in order to enjoy these spectacular views on top of our little mountain it is necessary to ascend a mountain road. Do take extra care once you begin the 1.5km ascent to the house after you leave the village, saloon cars are perfectly okay, just take it slow and easy as you reach the final 700m of uneven gravel road. (PLEASE NOTE: The road is not suitable for low profile sports cars - you would be advised to park at the post box 700m from the top of the hill or in the village where the bins are located).
Please note that our small bed and breakfast does not provide fridges in the rooms, nor the use of the main fridge or kitchen, however we are more than happy to refreeze your cool blocks overnight should you wish to place in your own coolbox.
The caravan situated in its own private space is suitable for a family (Max 2 adults and 2 children under 10) who want to self-cater and enjoy nature in peaceful surroundings in the forest overlooking the mountains. ** Breakfast is NOT included in the price of this unit, but the caravan features gas cooking facilities inside.

Located at the crossroads of the regions of the Var and the Alpes-de-Haute Provence it is a fascinating part of France with its imposing landscapes made up of numerous gorges, its grand canyon, and its massive and steep calcair cliffs. Home to the Griffon Vulture, reintroduced here following near extinction in the 90s, the group now flourishes and you can see them sweeping through the gorge. If you are looking for an adrenaline-rush of outdoor activities, there are a number of exciting sporting activities on offer in and around the village to get your fix. From white-water rafting to bungee jumping, hot air ballooning to abseiling, you’ll find it all here. The wild and diverse region of the Verdon owes its name, which is derived form “vert” – the French word for green, to the vibrant turquoise colour of its rivers lakes and streams.
In a nutshell …”One of the most scenic, breathtakingly beautiful wildernesses in the world, and home to the majestic Griffon Vulture.” Haute Provence is centred around the culture of lavender and lavandin essential oils, along with honey, olives, truffles, meats and cheeses renowned for their superb taste - all to be found on the local markets.
