Built in the Quercy style, on a hillside in a small hamlet on the edge of Montgesty, surrounded by nature with wonderful views, you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and absolute tranquility. The main house was built from natural stone as early as 1765: the more than 250-year history can be felt everywhere. Villa Bédé now shines in new splendor with its old charm: 4 double rooms each with their own bathroom with shower and toilet, plus a 40 sqm studio as an airy, large 'family room', of course with its own bathroom, a large living room and a spacious Kitchen, all spread over two floors with a total of approx. 220 m², now make a wonderful holiday home. New central heating was installed for the cooler months. From the large covered terrace and the veranda you have wide views of the beautiful infinity pool, the garden and the valley. The property includes 9 hectares of grass, pasture and forest areas with wonderful views. Villa Bede is picturesque and the garden, terrace and pool create an oasis of calm and relaxation. In the main season in July / August, bookings are only possible for whole weeks, arrival and departure days are Saturday.
Hello, we are Art and Angela, the owners of Villa Bédé in this beautiful part of France! During our professional life so far, especially in the catering industry, as an architect in Germany and as a rose grower in the Netherlands, we have often dreamed of buying and renovating a house in France. This became a reality in 2019. While the country was then shut down with the start of the corona pandemic and the associated recurring lockdowns and curfews, we really ramped up our renovation activities: the planning and construction work became more and more extensive as the pandemic continued and we have the whole house upside down posed! Now we are happy to finally be able to open the doors again and receive guests. Angela's Italian roots, our passion for food and drink, our sense for the beautiful things in life and for nature are the perfect ingredients to make your stay a special experience!
