Mas de la Giralde is a character stone farmhouse situated on terraced grounds of 15000m2, and well-located in the beautiful commune of Payzac in the Cevennes Ardeche which nestles between the Ardeche Mountains to the north and the Mediterranean coast further to the south giving a Mediterranean style climate.
Mas de la Giralde offers two self-catered gites (Les Cigales and Les Faysses) each with private outside space. We also offer two bed and breakfast rooms (La Glycine and La Terrasse) in the main house, each with their own independent access and ensuite facilities. A shared summer kitchen is available to B&B guests. A continental breakfast is served daily to bed and breakfast guests. Breakfast is not available to self-catered gites.
Mas de la Giralde has been completely renovated and updated to a very high standard ensuring that your stay will be as comfortable as possible. The house has been granted a 4* Meuble de Tourisme classification. There is a large swimming pool available for your use during the summer months as well as access to the gardens. Guests should be aware there are several steps to reach the house and the gites from the parking area.
Nick and Fiona will be your hosts for the duration of your stay. We have been hosting guests in our gites and bed and breakfast rooms since 2018.
We are passionate about making your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. We make every effort to personally greet all our guests on their arrival and to show you around the property. We live on site and are available at any time if help is needed. We do our best to keep rules to a minimum, the only real rule is that if you want or need something just ask. We will do our best to help.
Mas de la Giralde is situated in the commune of Payzac, which offers peace and tranquillity as well as easy access to all the features and activities that the Ardeche has to offer.
