Close to the bustling village of Plaisance in SW France and 13km from Marciac and the famous jazz festival, this charming chambre d’hote is perfectly situated to explore all the area has to offer. The property offers a double bedroom with en-suite, coffee making facilities, hairdryer, free WiFi and parking. Breakfast is included and Plat du Jour is available at extra cost if appropriate notice is given. The property is directly opposite the outdoor, public swimming pool and crazy golf course.
Liz and Matthew are an outgoing couple who enjoy VTT, art and hosting. They have thrown themselves into French life and look forward to welcoming guests into their home.
The property is near the River Arros, where you can fish with a permit and opposite a public swimming pool and crazy golf course. Plaisance village and its bars and food pop-ups /restaurants are a 2 minute walk away. The larger village of Marciac is 13km away and hosts the famous Jazz Festival in July and August. The neighbouring villages of Tasque and Riscle are 4km and 13km away respectively and offer lovely places to eat and visit. Nestled in the Saint Mont wine region, Bordeaux, Toulouse, The Pyrenees and the coast are easily reached in 2 hours. Lourdes and its famous Basilica is 45 minutes drive away
