My parents transmitted to me their passion for Périgord more than 20 years ago - and I love to share this with you. Beynac is more than just a village, it is a medieval site with a very special atmosphere. In the morning, when the village rises but also in the evening, when sun sets over river Dordogne. Not to forget the pulse of life during daytime. Beynac is classified as one of the „most beautiful villages in France“. You will surely find lots of exceptional moments during your stay.

Property information

Located in the heart of the medieval village of Beynac House, the “Stoneroofed House” is an individual house of 100 sqm with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate wc, large great room opening to a deck and panoramic garden of 300 sqm with a fantastic view over the Dordogne. Subtile combination of : Tradition with limestone walls in each rooms, ancient wooden beams, two large original stone fireplaces, ancient furniture like an outstanding 18th century renovated “baldaquin” kingsize bed in the master bedroom. Modernity with an open plan fully equipped kitchen, brand new bathroom with spa shower cabin, flat screen TV with DVD equipment, leather dining chairs, comfortable living room seatings. Outdoor dining table with comfortable chairs and relaxing sun loungers shadowed by a massive platane tree.
At walking distance (2-5 mn) from the house restaurants, grocery shop, bakery, butcher, pharmacy,...

Neighbourhood information

And last not least there is always the possibility to indulge yourself in one of the numerous little Restaurants at reasonable prices with typical Perigord cuisine. By the way, I nearly forgot to mention the unforgettable tour by Kajak or Canoe along the river Dordogne.
