## The neighborhood Carteret is a tourist seaside resort. A blue flag and family plus nature reserve, Carteret is located on the west coast of the Cotentin, 40 km from the D Day beaches. You can practice many sports there: sailing school, sea rowing, sea sports, boat/jet ski rentals, shore fishing, tennis and pétanque courts, horse riding, 18-hole golf course in Saint Jean and mini golf in Carteret, cinema. You can have your meals in many restaurants including La Marine, a **** hotel/ restaurant. You can also relax on the beach of "la potinière", enjoy happy hour with your feet in the sand, go hiking on our paths and beaches, or discover breathtaking landscapes. Jersey and Guernsey is located opposite, a few dozen kilometers (possibility of departure by boat from Carteret or rental with boat license). You can also go aboard Neire Maove, our schooner, to discover the Channel Islands and our beautiful coasts. The Carteret market takes place on Thursday mornings, 350 m from the house.
