Our two holiday rentals (The APPARTEMENT and The SUTE) are part of our own house, but set aside so that we don't see the flats and they don't see us. We are there to help if needed, but our guests have their own terraces and several acres of land to be in total privacy and enjoy the calm and quiet of our truly unique setting. Les Rossignols is a haven for those who are looking for nature and quiet. Our huge natural swimming pond (open from Late May to late October) is bliss after a hot day of visiting the local markets or hiking through the lavender fields. If swimming with frogs surrounded by nature is less your thing, we also have a private Spa with jacuzzi, steam bath and plunge pool to relax in the sunshine.
We are a couple from Germany who built the house in the late 70ies and have poured all our love and passion into the building and the many acres we own. Making it into the amazing oasis it has now become. Working in the music business we travel a lot, but try to spend as much time in Roussillon as possible. If we wont be in the house during your stay, we will always make sure that somebody else will be looking after you.
Roussillon is a lovely village in the heart of Provence, famous for its ocre rocks and officially one of the prettiest villages in France. We are only 2 kilometers from the village centre which is close enough to get your baguette in the morning or your apéritif in the evening, but far away enough to avoid the tourists during the summer months and enjoy total quiet whilst watching the sun set over Gordes. In less than an hour drive you can also visit the amazing pope palace in Avignon, the buzzing city of Marseille or snorkel in the Mediterranean Sea. Or you could just sip a rosé from your private terrace and listen to the crickets...
