The Secret Gem and The Hidden Gem are two lovely old rustic houses which may be booked separately or together if for a big group or two families. It is a large joint garden, though each house has its own terrace on opposite ends, so each group feels private. There is parking for two cars outside and one in the garden drive. A handful of good restaurants and two patisseries are just on hand with even a takeaway pizzeria right on the corner, as well as a large supermarket 4 mins walk away. Best of all is the magnificent Chateau just round the corner, the beautiful river for boating, with outdoor pools nearby and sumptuous vineyards all within a stone's throw. Weekends of art, medieval games, open-air concerts and films often take place, usually gratis, in this beautiful old french town in the Loire.
