Wisteria Gites is a charming detached self catering holiday let, set in extensive gardens, with an outdoor heated swimming pool (open 1st May to 1st September), which is an inviting place on a hot sunny day. Everything is furnished and decorated to a high standard. We also have a covered barn which means you can still have fun outdoors, whatever the weather. Our high speed fibre internet even allows guests to work remotely, if they feel they must :) As we only take one booking, of up to 14 guests at a time, you have exclusive use of all the guest facilities. Your holiday can start on any day of the week, to suit your plans, even in high season!

After a number of years and countless enjoyable times in France, we discovered Wisteria Gites in the Pays de la Loire and simply fell in love with it! We’re in a really nice area with lots to do and it's also handy for Ferries and Trains. There are Bars, Boulangeries, Restaurants and a good supermarket and filling station less than ten minutes drive away. We genuinely love Wisteria Gites and hope you will too. We’re in a quiet, peaceful area of France, where children can play in the extensive gardens and no real light pollution gives us an amazing canopy of stars at night. We live in a separate house on the property, so if you find there’s something that would make your holiday even better, please let us know. There are many historic towns and villages with weekly markets, castles, chateaux and spectacular views, all within easy reach of Wisteria Gites. Why not enjoy a day out in Mayenne, Laval, Vitre, Fougeres or Domfront for example? Further afield, interesting days can be had at Mont St Michel and the Normandy beaches. Or for car racing enthusiasts, Le Mans is within reach. The small town of St Denis De Gastines is approx 5km from us and has a mini supermarket, Boulangerie and Bar Tabac. Also nearby we have large supermarkets with 24hr filling stations in both Gorron (10 mins) and Ernee (15 mins). Most of the surrounding towns have really good Tourist Information Offices (L'Office du Tourisme) where you will discover all the latest activities, festivals and places to visit.
