This town centre location means that all the historic highlights of this fine, medieval market town are a matter of moments from the apartment, including the stunning floral displays in the Abbey Gardens. Close by are the Arc shopping centre, and the exceptional newly-built entertainment venue, the Apex, which attracts world class performers who appreciate its excellent acoustics. There is also the notable Theatre Royal, a rare Georgian playhouse, owned by the National Trust, popular with visiting theatre companies and local productions alike. And then there are the many excellent restaurants, shops and bars and the historic Greene King brewery where the tours include spectacular panoramic views of views of the town and beyond from the top of the brew house as well as the chance to taste the iconic and lesser known ales. Bury St Edmunds is situated in the heart of East Anglia and it is therefore the ideal place from which to explore the many delights of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, including a number of National Trust properties such as the handsome, palladian Ickworth House and the Tudor splendour of Melford Hall. Newmarket Racecourse is just a 20min drive away.
