The 5th Wheel is located on a 27 acre farm on the Devon Cornwall boarder. The farm has views down the Tamar valley including the river all the way to Brunel's historic Tamar bridge.
The 5th Wheel is a 1990s American import.
It consist of a bedroom area with king size bed and wardrobes. A Bathroom containing Toilet, Hand Basin and 1/4 size tub with over head shower supplied with water from the small water tank within the trailer. We also allow access to a shower room located at the side of our bungalow which is only used by guests and has a shower with mains water pressure and runs off the house gas boiler, some guests find this more comfortable than the compact Bathroom of the trailer. A Kitchen area with fridge freezer, two ring convection hob, small oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking crockery and utensils. The living area consists of a sitting area with sofa bed and a dining area which also folds down into a small double bed. There is a TV and radio in the lounge incase you get bored of the stunning scenery out the windows. We have an outside seating area with fire pit and BBQ for late night views of the sunsets, also with very limited light pollution you can see the night sky in fabulous detail.
Dogs are also welcome if required. The property is located on a public footpath and many walks can be enjoyed from the location.
Guests are also welcome to use the play area located at the rear of the farm house which has trampoline, slides, climbing frame, swings and picnic tables with the spectacular view of the valley.
Hi I have been hosting guests at the farm for the last 8 years.
We are very family friendly having kids myself.
We have a Varity of tame animals including sheep, goats, chicken, ducks some of which can he hand fed if this is something you would like to do during your stay.
he farm is located on the outskirts of a small village with has two shops, a butchers, post office, pub, takeaway.
The village also has a Train station with links to Plymouth, Gunnislake and Calstock (Tamar Valley Line) and a bus that runs to Tavistock.

There are many National trust sites within 30 mins drive, Beaches that can be reached in just under an hour. We are also more than happy to advise on local attractions, pubs/restaurants for food (most of which are dog friendly)
