Little Coombe Loft is a peaceful hideaway nestled in the beautiful East Devon countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The accommodation, which sleeps 2, is light and airy and is furnished to a high standard. Little Coombe Loft lies a couple of miles away from the picturesque town of Lyme Regis, also known as the Pearl of Dorset, on the magnificent Jurassic Coast.
Little Coombe Loft has been created above a double garage in a delightful, rural setting next to our 300-year-old Devon home, Coombe Cottage. The space compromises of one main room with king size bed, a sitting area with 2 comfy chairs and a kitchenette are with countertop space, microwave, portable double induction hob, plug-in slow cooker (please note, no oven!), kitchen sink and undercounter fridge freezer. There is a separate shower room, WC and sink leading off the main room. Little Coombe Loft has its own private parking space for one car in front of the right side hand of the double garage doors. There is also a private patio seating area to enjoy alfresco drinks and nibbles.
The accommodation does not take pets. We do not allow our own 2 cats into Little Coombe Loft, so please do not encourage this.
In the warmer months we are happy for you to use disposable BBQs in the patio area outside, so long as they are disposed of safely afterwards. We leave continental style breakfast items for your first morning (brioche, preserves, butter, cereal), along with tea, coffee and milk. However, daily breakfast is not provided.
Hi I'm Liz and I live with my husband, Chris, in a peaceful hamlet close to the Devon/Dorset border. I am happiest when enjoying nature and the great outdoors - hiking, camping, cycling, especially with friends and family - and also gardening/growing vegetables!
The property is located along a quiet country lane with views across the rolling countryside, Little Coombe Loft is perfectly situated for walkers wishing to explore the patchwork of footpaths and bridleways spanning the East Devon/West Dorset border. The South West Coast Path offers magnificent views of the Jurassic Coast, taking in famous local landmarks such as Chesil Beach, West Bay and Golden Cap. A range of stunning beaches such as Eype, Seatown, Lyme Bay, Beer and Branscombe are just a short drive away. A two mile walk through lanes, fields and woodland brings you to Lyme Regis, the heart of the World Heritage site known as the Jurassic Coast. Lyme Regis is renowned for its natural beauty, fossils, literary connections and extraordinarily rich heritage. Enjoy both sandy and pebble beaches, stunning coastal views, a stroll around the iconic Cobb harbour or explore the maze of winding streets bursting with delicious eateries and unique shops.
