Abbots Leigh is owned and operated by George Eason, a classically trained chef, and Mary-Elizabeth O'Neill, a front of house professional and events manager. We love Glastonbury and the surrounding countryside and endeavour to have our guests enjoy this property as much as we do.

Abbots Leigh is a Georgian townhouse in the very centre of Glastonbury town, adjacent to the renowned and unmissable Glastonbury Abbey ruins. Our three spacious rooms are tucked away from the main road in a tranquil garden, with secure parking. We are a 2 minute walk from the Glastonbury Festival shuttle which runs until late. Breakfast ingredients are sourced locally with as many elements as possible made in-house, including rotating seasonal specials. Breakfast is served in room or in the orangery overlooking our gardens. We offer an accessible room on the ground floor and welcome guests over 12 years old.

Glastonbury is a thriving and unique country town with a wealth of independent shops, cafés and pubs. Abbots Leigh is a 2 minute walk from the High Street, a taxi rank and buses to Bristol, London and Glastonbury Festival (in June). We are walking distance to Glastonbury Abbey, the Somerset Rural Life Museum, Chalice Well Gardens and Glastonbury Tor. Guests looking for something different can follow the Glastonbury Mural Trail, have a pint at the 15th century George & Pilgrims pub, or just sit outside at a café watching the world go by. Further afield are various nature reserves, cider farms and lovely country pubs.
