Situated in the village of Betws-y-Coed, Afon View is a 4-star guest house offering bed and breakfast accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The traditional stone-built property is a 20-minute drive from the slopes of Mount Snowdon. Each en suite bedroom has a traditional décor with modern finishings, some with original Victorian fireplaces and all with views of the surrounding valley. Rooms include a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee-making facilities, as well as complimentary toiletries. Guests can relax by the fire in Afon View’s warmly decorated lounge room after a day out hiking or mountain biking. The village also has several bars, pubs and restaurants for meals. Breakfast is served with a view of Mount Garnon, and the varied menu is prepared with fresh ingredients. Afon View is a 7-minute walk from the Betws-y-Coed Golf Course, and less than a 5-minute walk from the village’s train station. The property has free parking, bike storage and drying room facilities.

Snowdonia lets me chill out after work, walking, climbing, surfing or sailing. All within easy local reach. And lets not forget all the local beers available in the nearby pubs !!!

A perfect luxury base to explore Snowdonia, close to the Sherpa bus and train station, free off road parking, so no hassle on busy weekend. But you cannot beat returning from your exertions to a roaring open fire place in the cold season months and a honesty bar in our guest lounge !. Chill out before walking to the nearby restaurants and pubs. Great for that romantic stay in a 4 poster bed with drinks in front of the fire, or just play chess or monopoly. You can ask us to leave a bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket in your room for a special occasion or just as a romantic gesture for extra charge. With the feel of a hotel you can come and go as you like but always feel at home.

From climbing Snowdon and the other peaks to delving the mines of Blaenau ffestiniog, zip wires and mad biking to a romantic stay in a 4 poster bed. Don't forget surfing at Dolgarrog or sailing on the nearby rivers and coast. Or you can just take a leisurely walk to the waterfalls or around the local golf course. Perfect.....
