Hi, I am David and I have lived in Scotland all my life, originally from Dundee, and first lived in Edinburgh as far back as 1988 when I moved through to study at Napier Uni, a college back in those days. :-) I've lived and worked in Aberdeen and also lived in Perth. I've worked in Glasgow too so I'm quite familiar with the major cities of Scotland and can offer advice about them if you fancy a wee day trip. The apartment design is bright, fresh, which gives a lovely homely feeling. With a large super king size bed in the bedroom, a king-size sofa bed in the living room, a parking permit allowing free private parking, free super fast 125MB WiFi, free Netflix Ultra & Amazon Prime Video on a 4K Ultra HD TV, this apartment is perfect for small groups. There is also an HD TV in the bedroom. Sleeps up to 4 guests in total. 2nd top floor flat. Accessed by stairs only. 2 flights of stairs from the front door & 3 flights of stairs from the rear door. The bedroom has 2 zip link beds, normally combined to make a super king-size bed, but can be separated on request. 1 king-size sofa bed in the living room is available. Fully equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. 2 USB ports to charge phones/devices. All the essential items for a self-catering holiday e.g. glasses, plates, pots etc. Breakfast bar. Comfortable spacious living area with dining table & 4 chairs. Power shower, bath, toilet & sink. Additional Info: Bath towel & hand towel for each guest Bedding provided Hair Dryer Iron & ironing Board Clothes horse - no tumble dryer. This is a quiet residential area and parties or loud music in the apartment are not allowed. Please respect the other residents. Edinburgh is a perfect base to discover and enjoy other parts of Scotland. Located within walking distance to the city centre just by the Playhouse and Calton Hill. This is a safe area to walk around at night. 10/15 minute walk to the East End of Princes Street, near Edinburgh Castle , and then only 5 minutes from the famous Royal Mile. Close by to the Omni Centre with its VUE multi-screen cinema, multiple bars and restaurants. A short walk to the Playhouse Theatre, Calton Hill, many local restaurants, pubs, bistros, shops etc. Very near to all the main bus stops to get you round the city.
