Aroha - The meaning is Love and Compassion.
It is from the Maori language and the English translation is Aroha encompasses the breath of life and the creative force of the spirit.
The original part of my property was built in the 1700s and is situated on the Mary Line. Bove Town being one of the older parts of Glastonbury.
My place is a peaceful home, a place to come to relax, reflect and take time out from our busy lives, and to explore the Heart Chakra of the world which is Glastonbury. It is also in an excellent location. No need for a car once you arrive as all of the attractions, The Abbey, Chalice Well , The Tor are walking distance. The High St is minutes away, as is the bus stop if you are travelling by bus. If you enjoy walks in nature ,these are plentiful also. Also if working from home, this is a lovely place to come to take some time out to be in nature and rejuvenate your soul.
Please note the following;
It is not self catering .
Please ensure that you read all the HOUSE RULES before booking to make sure this property is right for you.

I am from New Zealand which is why I have chosen the name Aroha for my BnB, but also the translation is very beautiful.
I think simplicity and balance are important factors of life and of course words by The Beatles.....All we need is love.

very to happy to assist you in any way I can. Important

The neighbourhood, Bove Town is a very old part of Glastonbury and fairly quiet. But you are minutes (walking) away from the High Street which is very unique. I like to attract guests that are happy to be in a quiet and peaceful place .
There are many cafes/restaurants close by. Glastonbury offers a great range of live music .
There are many beautiful walks and within minutes , you can find yourself in nature. We all know how nature rejuvenates our soul and in the world today it is so important that we take time to be in nature and to be in silence. It brings peace ,gentleness and calmness to ourselves. An opportunity in time to be reflective, to stop and in such a special place, Glastonbury.
The Tor is about a 30min walk and the Abbey , Chalice Well, and The White Spring a all just short walks away.
Come and enjoy all that Glastonbury has to offer, there certainly is a lot to explore or if you need time to just be, this is the place for you.
