Bacchus at Goose Beck Cottages, is situated in the Vale of York between Harrogate, Wetherby and York on a recently planted family run vineyard. Originally farm buildings, the barns have been sympathetically converted into five beautiful one bedroom cottages each with their own unique character.

Neighbourhood information

Just 8 miles from York, you can catch a bus to the city centre from the nearby village or make use of the park and ride a short drive away. York is a thriving city where you can stroll the mediaeval Shambles, visit York Minster, the National Railway Museum, walk the city walls or take a river cruise down the River Ouse. York even has a maze throughout the summer months. With endless shops there is so much to do in this historic city. Harrogate a bustling town with an extensive high street, including independent boutiques and department stores. You can experience the Turkish Baths, offering luxury pampering treatment packages. Maybe follow this with a trip to the world famous Betty's Tearoom for a traditional afternoon tea, whilst RHS Harlow Carr is a lovely relaxing way to spend a day. The nearby Market town of Wetherby holds a weekly market on a Thursday and various craft and artisan markets throughout the year, or grab fish and chips at The Wetherby Whaler, A 45 minute drive North East will take you to the North York Moors where you can discover Castle Howard Estate deep in the Howardian Hills or further still the thriving market town of Helmsley. It is also within easy reach of The Yorkshire Dales National Park, a walkers paradise and home to Bolton Abbey, Aysgarth Falls, and Malham Cove Enjoy a day out at the races at the nearby racecourses of Wetherby or York
