Probably the only B&B that comes with a Bakery & Bakery Dog. Bear House is situated in the heart of the beautiful Devon town of Colyton, close to country side walks, beaches & Jurassic Coast. We have 3 comfortable bedrooms in this 200 year old building, a kingsize a double and a single occupancy room with a double bed, all en-suite on the 1st floor & our Bakery on ground floor, where a cooked breakfast will be served. We, Colin, Sharon & Radar the Dog look forward to welcoming you.
Breakfast will be served in the Bakery Kitchen on the ground floor (open to the public some days of the week). Freshly cooked breakfast to order, we strive to source local / organic ingredients where possible. We bake hand made sourdough bread on the premises, using a range of flours including Organic Whole White & Spelt and a selection of danishes, croissants & donuts (a smaller selection available on the days we are closed). Great with our ‘bean to cup’ coffee or mug of tea.
Colyton is close to the East Devon Way and South West Coast Path for breath taking walks and the A3052 to visit many of the South West’s attractions including the Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer, Bridport and Westbay - the list is endless. The tramway from Colyton to Seaton can take you to the coast and back! Actually there are more beautiful places of interest than you can shake a donut at.
