The 15th century New Inn, village shop, cafe and farm shop are one mile away in the picturesque "black and white" village of Pembridge.
The excellent Cider Barn restaurant is within walking distance, the renowned Stagg Inn is a short drive and the gastronomic Elizabethan town towns of Ludlow 25 minutes.
There are numerous festivals throughout the year including the world famous literary Hay Festival, Ludlow Food Festival, Leominster Festival and Presteigne Music Festival.

Wander around the beautiful Berrington Hall, a fine house created by Henry Holland.
Explore Hampton Court gardens and maze or Croft Castle, home of the Croft family for nearly 1000 years with many stories to uncover.
