A unique and tranquil getaway in the picturesque village of Godolphin. Britannia House is a historic property built in 1830 and has many original and unique features. The house was originally built from old mine timbers by a mine captain, the property then became the village pub until refurbished in 2019 to become a home. The large stone and timber living room has a log-burning stove and lovely views out to the village.
OUR ROOMS
The Praa (Budget room 11 m2 ) is a very small cosy, vintage-style room with en-suite priced and recommended for single occupancy but will accommodate two, the double bed is circa 19th century French romantic style. The bathroom is modern having been recently refurbished. There is plenty of seating for relaxing in the living room and access to books, board games and cards. On a sunny day the courtyard has tables and chairs available
The Eden - (28 m2) an impressive vintage-style room with en-suite. The bathroom is recently refurbished. The king-sized bed is circa 19th century French romantic style. Mahogany antique dresser, mahogany upholstered chairs, Edwardian double saloon chair and a spacious antique wardrobe. The two large windows provide plenty of natural light, one view overlooks the courtyard, the other overlooks the quiet village lane.
The Truro (19 m2) is a comfortable vintage-style room. The bed and bedside cabinets are circa 19th century French romantic style, also has an antique mahogany dresser and pair of mahogany chairs. The large (9 m2) en-suite private bathroom has a double walk-in shower, toilet, bath, and basin.
The Lelant (19 m2) a comfortable vintage-style twin room with en-suite. The two beds and chairs and bedside cabinet are circa 19th century French romantic style. We have provided lined curtains and room-darkening blinds. The two windows overlook the quiet village lanes.
Breakfast is vegetarian with Vegan and Gluten free options

Godolphin Cross is a charming country village situated in the heart of Cornwall. Getting Around
A bus service can take people to local towns. Driving is straightforward. There are good road signs to help navigate to local places. The car park is at the front of the property.
